Earn at least 0 credits from the following:

  • Or other appropriate internship, employment, or course of study working with Native people and organizations (such as a culminating experience in the student’s major), with the approval of the program coordinator. In some cases this requirement may be fulfilled by a non-credit bearing (0 credit) learning opportunity. In all other cases at least 3 credits are required.

Note: Other courses relevant to Native American and Indigenous Studies or to careers working with Native communities may count toward the certificate, with the approval of the program coordinator.
